Today’s youth is restless, impatience and hungry for success. He is running after quick money, name and fame. When information in the form of knowledge is floating all around him how can he not think of achieving everything at an early age with less of the other two factors – Experience and Creativity. Information or knowledge is just the one of the ingredients but the other two are as important for the success as “Water to fish”.  Knowledge without experience is a cart without bullock while creativity is a bullock cart without human brain.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Experience teaches us how to use the knowledge in a structured way, it guides us to apply the information/ knowledge to a particular problem and make your way ahead.

Knowledge, experience, and creativity can be compared to ingredients in a recipe.

Just as a chef uses various ingredients to create a delicious dish, an individual uses their knowledge and experience to create something new and innovative through their creativity.

Knowledge and experience provide the foundation and structure for creativity, much like the basic ingredients in a recipe. Just as a chef needs to know how to cook and understand the properties of different ingredients, an individual needs knowledge and experience to create something new and unique.

However, creativity is the magic that takes those ingredients and turns them into something extraordinary. Just as a chef can take a simple set of ingredients and turn them into a masterpiece, an individual can use their creativity to transform their knowledge and experience into something innovative and ground breaking.

In summary, knowledge and experience are the building blocks, while creativity is the spice that makes the final product stand out.

What is Project Audit why it should be done after implementation ?

The project Audit is a thorough examination of the management of a project, its methodology and procedures, its records, its properties, its budgets and expenditures, and its degree of completion. (Meredith, 2002)

The formal report may be presented in various formats, but should, at a minimum, contain comments on the following points:

  1. Current status of the project. Does the work actually completed match the planned level of completion?
  1. Future status. Are significant schedule changes likely? If so, indicate the nature of the changes.
  2. Status of critical tasks. What progress has been made on tasks that could decide the success or failure of the project?
  1. Risk assessment. What is the potential for project failure or monetary loss?
  2. Information pertinent to other projects. What lessons learned from the project being audited can be applied to other projects being undertaken by the organization?
  1. Limitations of the audit. What assumptions or limitations affect the data in the audit?

These are 6 parts of a project audit.

Project audit is not a financial audit.

The project audit is far broader in scope and may deal with the project as a whole or any component or set of components of the project.

It may be concerned with any aspect of project management.

While the project audit may be concerned with any aspect of project management, it is not a traditional management audit.

Management audits are primarily aimed at ensuring that the organization’s management systems are in place and operative.

If we summarize the relationship between management and project audit, the management audit looks at managerial systems and their use. The project audit studies the financial, managerial and technical aspects of the project as an integrated set applied to a specific project in a specific organizational environment.

There are several practical constraints that may limit the depth of the project audit’s investigation. Time and money are two of the most common limits on the depth of investigation and level of detail presented in the audit report. Accumulation, storage and maintenance of auditable data are important cost elements.

The type of project being audited and the uses for which the audit is intended dictate some specifics of the audit report format. Within any particular organization, however, it is useful to establish a general format to which all audit reports must conform. This makes it possible for project managers, auditors and organizational management all to have the same understanding of, and expectations for, the audit report as a communication device.

Audit will tell you the current health of the organization with respect to implementation, usage, reporting effectiveness etc.
